The agreement between you and My Wedding Network. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
My Wedding Network ("MWN", "we", "us") is an online platform that helps couples in the Philippines find wedding suppliers, plan a budget, agree contracts, track payments and organise their guests.
We are not a party to any agreement between a couple and a supplier. When you book a photographer, a caterer or a coordinator through MWN, the contract is between you and them. We provide the place where you find each other, the tools you use to agree terms, and a record of what was agreed. We do not perform the wedding services, we do not guarantee them, and we are not your agent.
By creating an account or using MWN, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.
MWN has four kinds of account:
| Couple | Plans a wedding. Always free. |
|---|---|
| Supplier | A wedding business listing its services. Free to list; paid options may be offered. |
| Coordinator / planner | A supplier under a coordination category who a couple may delegate parts of their wedding to. |
| Guest | Someone invited to a wedding, responding to an invitation. Always free. |
The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date. Registering a business you do not own or are not authorised to represent is a breach of these terms.
MWN is free for couples and their guests. We do not charge couples to search, shortlist, message, book, sign contracts, record payments, manage guests or publish a wedding microsite.
If you add guests to your guest list, you are sharing their personal information with us. You confirm you have a proper basis for doing so, and you remain responsible for what you choose to share. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle it.
You may create a supplier listing free of charge. When you do, you confirm that you are authorised to represent that business, and that the services, prices and availability you publish are accurate.
You are responsible for:
Parts of the MWN directory were compiled from publicly available sources so couples could search a meaningful set of suppliers from day one. These listings are marked unclaimed and show only business information.
If a listing is yours, you may claim it by submitting proof that you represent the business. Once approved, the listing becomes yours to edit and you can receive bookings through it.
If your business is listed and you would rather it were not, tell us and we will remove it. Write to [SUPPORT EMAIL] from an address associated with the business, or use the removal link on the listing. We will act within [X] business days. You do not need to create an account to ask.
Verification is optional and free. A supplier who chooses it submits business registration documents and a government ID, and our team checks them. If they pass, a Verified by MWN badge appears on their listing.
The badge means we have seen documents that appeared genuine at the time we reviewed them. It is not a guarantee of quality, reliability, solvency, or that any particular wedding will go well. It is one signal among several — read reviews, ask questions, and use your own judgement.
We may withdraw a badge at any time, for example if a registration lapses or a document turns out to be inaccurate. A supplier without a badge is not thereby accused of anything; most simply have not applied.
A booking begins when a couple sends a request and becomes binding when both sides sign the contract. Until then either side may walk away.
Contracts on MWN take one of two forms. Either both parties sign electronically on the platform, or the supplier uploads a signed copy agreed off-platform and both sides confirm it. Either way MWN stores the record.
Cancellation and rescheduling follow what the contract itself says. Where both parties request a cancellation, the booking is cancelled and the date released. Where they disagree, that is a dispute between them — see section 15.
When you type your name to sign a contract on MWN, you are signing it. You agree that an electronic signature made this way is valid and enforceable, consistent with the Philippine Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792).
We record the name entered, the time, the IP address and the browser used, and we keep that record with the contract so either party can evidence what was signed and when.
Today, payments are settled directly between the couple and the supplier — by cash, bank transfer or e-wallet. MWN records what each side reports and requires both to confirm it. We are keeping a ledger; we are not holding or moving your money, and a record in MWN is not proof that a payment cleared.
We intend to offer online payment, and payment held until the wedding is delivered ("escrow"), through a licensed payment provider. When we do, the terms for those services — including release conditions, refunds and any fees — will be presented before you use them, and nothing here obliges you to use them.
Couples and guests are not charged. Suppliers and coordinators may list free of charge.
We may offer suppliers optional paid subscriptions and paid placement, and we may charge a commission on payments processed through the platform. Any price, and any change to a price, will be shown to you before you commit, and you may cancel a subscription at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not charge for a feature you already had free without telling you first.
A couple may delegate parts of their wedding — budget, guest list, timeline, contracts and others — to a verified coordinator. Delegation is chosen module by module, can be withdrawn at any time, and is visible to the couple at all times.
Signing a contract is never delegable. Only the couple can sign on their own behalf, whatever else they have shared.
Photos, descriptions, prices, stories and everything else you upload remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating and promoting MWN — for example, showing your portfolio in search results.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Photographers in particular: please make sure you have the permission you need from the couples pictured.
Only a couple with a confirmed booking may review that supplier, and only after the wedding date. A supplier may publish one response to each review.
Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We do not remove a review simply because its subject dislikes it. We will remove reviews that are fraudulent, defamatory, or that contain personal information or abuse.
Do not:
Disagreements between a couple and a supplier are for them to resolve. We are not a party to their contract and we cannot adjudicate it.
We will, on request, provide both parties with the records we hold — the contract, the signing trail, messages and the payment ledger. Where we offer escrow in future, we will publish a separate procedure for holding and releasing funds while a dispute is open.
MWN is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any supplier will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any supplier, couple or guest; for the quality, timing or non-performance of any wedding service; or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Where we are found liable to you, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid MWN in the twelve months before the claim, or [AMOUNT] pesos.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account or a listing that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or that puts other users at risk.
If we take a listing down we will tell the account holder and say why. Some records — contracts, payment history, reviews — survive closure because the other party has a legitimate interest in them, and because we may be required to keep them.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use MWN after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of [CITY] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
